ANNOUNCING A SPECIAL EVENT

On Monday, November 7, 2022, Timonium Elementary PTA will be having a "Race for Education" -- a fun event to raise $15,000 for field trips, assemblies, classroom enrichment, and student engagement.  We are also hoping to reach our "challenge goal" of $20,000 so that we can provide even more enhancements to the educational program students are receiving at our school.

Students will walk and/or jog around the Lower Field an many times as possible in a fifty-minute period. Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a donation to the Timonium Elementary PTA.  Please consider sponsoring a student today.  All donations are tax deductible.  Thank you.

SHOWING YOUR SUPPORT FOR A STUDENT IS EASY

1. Type your student’s name in the box below and click “Search.” His or her full name will then appear alone or in a list, along with their grade.

2. Click on the “Donate Now” button beside your student’s name, and make your contribution.

3. Consider helping to spread the news about the "Race for Education." Below your student’s name you will see the wording: SHARE THIS STUDENT URL, and next to that will be his/her specific webpage URL. Click on the social media icons or copy & email the link to their page.

You can give any amount, of course, and those who contribute $50.00 or more will have their name and their sponsored child’s name on a special sneaker to be displayed in the school’s main hallway as a way to encourage and rally our students.

We should also tell you that students can win prizes (e.g., Self Ink Mini Stamp, Homework Pass, Bubble Wand, 3D Puzzle, Oriole's Prize Pack, and much more!) for the number of sponsors they recruit. Each class which receives an average of 3 sponsor donations per student will be treated to an Extra Recess. The grade level with the highest number of sponsor donations per student will earn a Pajama & Movie Party. In addition, all the students will receive the following on Race Day: a Participation Certificate, a Fun Super Bouncy Ball, and a Raffle Ticket for other prizes. Finally, contact your sponsored student to find out the time that he or she will be jogging/walking.
